Ann Byne, former Founder and Principal of The Byne Group for over 20 years, merged her firm in 2019 with GMLV and is now a partner.

A Pratt graduate she began her career working with top designers on accounts including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Macys, Pepperidge Farm, Novartis Pharmaceuticals.

Ms. Byne is regularly invited to lecture and provide her expertise on strategic marketing and branding to numerous public and private organizations. As a brand evangelist, she believes that the brand and the customer experience are intertwined drivers of revenue and that finding the emotional connection between the two is key.

Among Ann’s distinguished honors was being selected as one of 90 women owned businesses from across the US to attend Dartmouth University’s Tuck Program for Women Executives. In 2013 Ann received the Business Enterprise National Council's Scholarship where she attended the Kellogg Business School at Northeastern University to participate in the "Soul of Leadership" program featuring keynote speaker, Deepak Chopra. In 2016 she received the Hudson Valley Magazine “Women in Business Award”. In 2017 she was selected by Enterprising Women’s magazine as one of the “Enterprising Women Honorees” who came from the United States and across the globe.

She has a great interest in woman’s issues, publishing numerous articles in Media Post, including the evolution of women in marketing and the Subtle Gender Bias that continues to impact women in the workplace.
